Details
There's a particular kind of tired that comes from holding seventeen browser tabs of thought open at once. The Steady Journal exists for the radical practice its cover suggests: one thing at a time.
It's a proper hardcover — matte, sturdy, with a ribbon marker — because a journal that's going to hold the honest stuff should feel like it can take the weight. The hard cover means it journals from a sofa, a bath edge, a parked car or a waiting room without needing a desk, which matters because the thoughts rarely schedule themselves for desk hours.
We deliberately didn't print prompts inside. Prompted journals are someone else's idea of what you should be processing; the lined page plus the ribbon marker is the whole system. Write the thing. Close the book. The ribbon remembers where you got to so you don't have to.
Who it's for
For processors, decompressers, therapy-homework-doers and the chronically overthinking. If you've been circling burnout or running on borrowed spoons, ten minutes of one-thing-at-a-time on paper is one of the cheapest resets there is. (Not a medical claim — just a lot of lived experience.)
Pairs well with
Sits well with The Gentle Reminder Postcard tucked inside as a bookmark-slash-pep-talk, and The One Step Tee if the philosophy is becoming a uniform.

Common questions
Does it have prompts inside?
No — deliberately. Lined pages, ribbon marker, no homework. Prompts help some people; for many ND writers they become another set of instructions to fail. The blank line is more honest.
Is the cover actually hard?
Properly hard — matte-laminated board that journals fine without a desk underneath it.
Does The Steady Journal match the rest of the collection?
It sits within The Calm Collection, where every piece shares the same sage-cream-blush language — a calm corner that assembles itself.
